Fascias and Soffits on Newcastle Properties
With the rainfall the North East gets, the roof edge is one of the hardest-working parts of any house. On older Newcastle terraces and 1930s semis the original timber boards are often the last thing to be replaced and the first to fail. Modern uPVC needs to be fitted with adequate roof ventilation, otherwise loft condensation becomes a problem, so we build in over-fascia or soffit vents. We also check the rafter ends, since hidden rot behind old boards is common.
Phil has replaced rooflines on every type of property across the city, from low terraces to two-storey semis needing tower access. He keeps the detailing tight so the new fascia sits right and the gutters run true.

Common questions
Questions about uPVC Fascia & Soffits in Newcastle
Answers to the questions we are asked most.
How much do uPVC fascias and soffits cost in Newcastle?
A typical terraced house roofline runs from around 1,200 to 2,200, with semis and detached homes from 2,200 to 4,000. Adding new guttering and access affect the price. We quote the whole job upfront.
Do you charge a call-out fee for fascia and soffit quotes in Newcastle?
No call-out fee. The quote is free and Phil takes a proper look at the roofline.
Do new uPVC soffits need ventilation?
Yes. Sealing up the roofline without proper vents causes condensation and damp in the loft. We build in soffit or over-fascia ventilation as standard so the roof space breathes.
How long does a fascia and soffit replacement take?
Most terraced and semi rooflines are done in one to two days. Larger properties or jobs needing scaffold may take a little longer.
Is your fascia and soffit work guaranteed?
Yes. We use quality uPVC from established suppliers and guarantee our workmanship. Phil checks every roofline himself before sign-off.
Which areas near Newcastle do you cover for fascias and soffits?
We cover Newcastle and the surrounding North East, including Gosforth, Wallsend, Gateshead, Whitley Bay and Heaton. Give us a ring if you are nearby.
